I offer private lessons in rock climbing
and also teach for a professional guiding company at Lake
Tahoe, ASI. I have climbed rock and ice all over the west
coast, specializing in my home areas of California and
Nevada, including 11 ascents of El Capitan, and 40 first
ascents. I offer reasonable rates and a high degree of
professionalism and a ton of fun stuff to learn!

Day Climbs *
Rate: $150.00/day (180.00 per weekend)
Local climbing areas that I guide are the Pie Shop, Donner Summit,
South Shore and the Sierra East Side. Give me some notice so I can
set up the proper permits. We could do a variety of climbs from 5.1
to 5.12, multi-pitch climbs, slabs, cracks , whatever you, the client
desire. After the climb, often we drink a beer or some wine, do some
dinner, and discuss the day's events.
Big Walls
Rate: $200-300.00/day
I climb the largest monoliths in the world and for
a price, you can, too. I provide instruction and safety training
prior to the wall. We bivouac on portaledges, which are collapsible
cots that allow sleeping on the side of a shear wall. I'll haul the
bags containing our food and water for the climb. You'll get the ride
of a lifetime on the airy perches of a big wall.
Climb with a qualified guide for the most
instructional and safest big wall you can get on....quality
instruction before and during the wall to keep you as safe as
possible.
