He's no scrawny sport climber! Lon is a full fledge registered
member of the Fat Boy's Mountaineering club. Although Lon has been known to work a sport route,
he usually is found on long trad routes and Ice lines. Lon tries not to specialize in
in one particular style of climbing instead he opted to learn all the games that
climbers play including Alpine, Big Walls, Ice, Sport & Traditional. |
His favorite places are: Yosemite Valley, Lovers Leap, Lee Vining, The High Sierra, and a little unkonwn crag called Dinosaur Rock just outside of Carson City. Lon has a certain affinity for good beer. He has been know to pull out ice cold beers from haulbags after three hard days of Big Wall climbing much to the suprise of his partners! And after a day of climbing with him you certainly can be assured he will have a tall cold one waiting for you, be warned though; his beer of choice is New Castle Nut Brown Ale and when a keg is not near by he will most likely hand you a 28 oz size bottle ! |
